Sacramento Pride 2025

Sacramento Pride, commonly known as SacPride, is an annual event organized by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center. The festival serves as a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, promoting inclusivity, diversity, and advocacy for equal rights. Traditionally held in June, SacPride commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion, a pivotal moment in the LGBTQ+ rights movement.

Over the years, Sacramento Pride has evolved into one of the city’s most significant events, attracting over 20,000 attendees. The festival typically features multiple stages with live performances, a variety of exhibitors and vendors, and a Pride March that begins at Southside Park and concludes at the California State Capitol building.

In recent years, Sacramento Pride has emphasized environmental sustainability, aiming to become one of the most environmentally friendly Pride celebrations in the country.
